God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; - Psalm 46:1-2
In Jeremiah 33:7, the LORD assures Jeremiah that He will return the captivity of Judah and Israel. He promises to build them again.
God says, “…if ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season: Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant…” (Jeremiah 33:20-21)
God’s promise to His people stands sure. As His covenant with day and night, and His fixed patterns of heaven and earth is established and cannot be changed by humans, then neither can anything one can do to abort or change God’s plan and purpose for His people.
God promised to cleanse His people from their sins and from their iniquity. And, He said, “Again in this place, which is desolate… I will perform that good thing that I promised unto the house of Judah and to the house of Israel.” (Jeremiah 33:12,14)
God is saying, “All things are possible to those who believe in Him.” Jesus Christ is the resurrection. Your situation might be dead, yet through Him, He can breathe life into it again. Be still and know that God is God.
