The problems and the adversities are all an illusion. These are smoke screens that the devil has devised to avert your attention from God to him (Satan). The picture changes when we see our dilemmas in the light of God’s will. Instead of struggling, you learn to rest in Jesus. You know – even when you don’t see it – that all is well. You know that “this thing” you’re going through will work out for your good, and for God’s glory.
When you cease to struggle – that is when you cease to worry; when you cease trying to fix it – then you can rest in the assurance that God has it all in His control. God knows just how much “heat” to apply; He knows just how long the “winds” should blow. Then in His perfect timing, He will remove the “heat” and He will calm the “storms.”
Those whom God uses, He chooses in the furnace of affliction. (Isaiah 48:10)
The Rhema word for today is: Be still, and know that I am God. Psalms 46:10
